Welcome to chessproblems.org. This site aspires to be the most useful set of problems available for developing tactical skill at the chessboard. It contains over 1,000 positions. They are drawn from the lessons found in this book. You can click the red button below to try a random position with no clue about what theme it involves. Or you can ask for a position that involves a specific theme by clicking anywhere in the outline below. You also can ask for a hint if you're stuck. The hint in each case is a reference to the place in Predator at the Chessboard where the puzzle appears. Anytime you like, you can reveal the solution and see it explained in plain English. Then you can ask for another position on the same theme, a different theme, or a random theme.
